Weather webcams: a real-time climate window

Weather webcams are an essential visual tool to confirm what numerical forecasts predict. Unlike a radar or an automatic observation, a camera shows the current state of the sky, wave conditions, snow cover or traffic flow as they are right now. For many users they are the final check before heading to the beach, a ski resort, a mountain trail or a road trip.

What you will find here

WhatAWeather groups public official and recognised operator webcams by category: beaches on the peninsula and the archipelagos, mountain peaks and viewpoints in the Pyrenees, Picos de Europa, Sierra Nevada and Teide, city centres of major cities, ski resorts in Aragon, Catalonia and Andalusia, reservoirs managed by Confederaciones Hidrograficas, ports with ferry and cruise traffic and roads from DGT and regional services. Every entry links to its original source so you can check freshness and availability at any time.

How to use the cards

Clicking a card opens a detailed webcam page with the provider's image or iframe embed, a live weather panel from Open-Meteo (temperature, humidity, wind), a Leaflet map with the exact location and a short description of the surroundings. If the image feed fails momentarily (public providers occasionally drop frames), the direct source link remains active. Open multiple pages in new tabs to monitor several spots at once.

Privacy and usage

All included cameras are publicly accessible and capture areas without identifiable individuals. We respect each operator's intellectual property: the image is served directly from their server and is not cached on WhatAWeather. If you operate a webcam and want to be included, or want us to remove it, email [email protected].
